Vehicle collected from customer’s home address and driven to MES to investigate customer’s report of knocking noise from front of vehicle. Vehicle had been inspected and diagnosed by a number of Audi dealer technicians at great cost without a satisfactory resolution of the problem. Vehicle road tested to confirm location of knocking noise from front of vehicle. Vehicle put on ramp to investigate front suspension. Knocking noise diagnosed as worn front anti-roll bar bushes. Front anti-roll bar bushes renewed and vehicle road tested. Knocking noise cured. Vehicle returned to customer’s home address. |
