Ford IDS with VCM 2

Ford IDS is the Ford Main Dealership Diagnostic Platform. It is the same system used if you were to visit a Franchised Ford Dealership for a Diagnosis / Repair for your vehicle.

It can carry out all security programming for keys, module and ECU Replacement and it also includes full fault finding flow charts which are used in order to find faults by description or customer report as opposed to simply plugging the unit in and seeing what fault codes are present. This is particularly helpful when the fault is intermittent and has not left a fault code trail within the vehicles diagnostic memory. A great bit of kit, specific for Ford.
