    - Mechanical Engineering Services, or M.E.S., is a local company based in the Cranleigh, Surrey area, founded by Jack Bruford, and formed on an ethos of high quality servicing and repair of vehicles, at a fair price to the public.
      All the vehicles we work on are collected by ourselves, worked on to a level above that of all the relevant Industry Standards, and returned to the customer’s home address, with both collection and delivery free of charge!

    - Free courtesy cars available. In addition to the Free Collection and Delivery we can also lend you one of our courtesy cars at no extra charge. We will even drop it off when we collect your car!
      All work covered by our six month parts and labour guarantee. Please see the FAQ’s for more on this, but suffice to say we are one of the few garage’s in the local area to be offering such a warranty on our work.

Rob Hampson

Group Financial Director

Rob worked in FD and Senior Finance roles for 30 years, before heading up the Finance Team at MES (Surrey) Limited and Unit One Automotive in 2021.

He has a proven track record in growing businesses, reducing risk and delivering successful exits in business.

Previously to joining the MES Group, Rob has Led numerous reviews and changes associated with the Bayer UKI corporate structure, financing, and pensions strategy. He holds a vast range of different sector experiences, suiting him perfectly as an independent viewpoint over the MES Group.

Rob has C level experience in Life Sciences, Automotive, Engineering and

Construction businesses, and is a major asset to the management structure at the MES Group.
