This Audi A3 had various central locking faults, electric window faults as well as electric mirror and door speaker faults.
Upon inspection – we found this to be the condition of the drivers door loom – this is the result of time, decay and also water ingress within the door at some point in the vehicles life.
This particular Audi A3 was of 2001 vintage, and had managed to make it to nearly 170,000 miles on this original loom. We think that’s not too bad going!
